Arthroscopy & Joint Preservation Surgery

Dr Konstantinidis specialises in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery and biological joint preservation techniques in the major joints of the body.

Arthroscopy & Joint Preservation Surgery

Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical technique that allows the surgeon to visualise, diagnose, and treat problems inside a joint through small incisions. Compared to open surgery, arthroscopic procedures are associated with reduced pain, faster recovery, and a lower risk of complications.

Dr Konstantinidis completed an ISAKOS-accredited fellowship at Dalhousie University in Canada focused on advanced arthroscopy of the shoulder, hip, and knee, including complex labral reconstructions, cartilage restoration, and multi-ligament procedures.

The majority of his surgical procedures are performed arthroscopically or with minimally invasive techniques where clinically appropriate.
